I've gone down the blog roll and am loving seeing the progress of this piece! Wonderful work...I'm curious, if you'll care to share - what is this new Photoshop technique you speak of? :)
Use an old paper/dirt texture (finding the right one is important) as a soft light overlay, set to clipping mask. Is the main part. This makes the colour feel more translucent and gives some texture to reduce the digital feel. Then there is some other stuff I am doing with brushes to build on the effect. I am still messing around with this. Trying to stop my images looking too photoshop'd . . .

Congrats.
You can't post too much - it's good for you to have a record of things, and it's good for us to admire your work!
God, I'm such a creep...
Beautiful
Wow, 250 posts!? How do you even know?
Regardless, that's a lot of artwork :)
Cheers guys. On a roll at the moment.
James - it tells you how many posts you've made on your blogger dashboard
