I have added this slide show of images from past posts to the bottom of the blog. It's in a random order and is only a small selection. It is a nice way to review past projects and doodles without crawling back though the archive though.
nb. the + and - buttons will adjust the playback speed.
Edit: Added right hand layout . Probably final. I'm not sure I prefer it but it seems more functional
Always really unsure of what to do with type and layout. Knowing me this will all change before printing. Some of the text is wrong and the night probably needs a better title . . . . I won't post the final though so hope you like this.
If anyone has any typography/layout suggestions or can point me in the direction of a good book I'd be very grateful.
Edit: Here are some earlier layouts. Looking at them this morning I think I prefer the title text in these . . .
Hi guys, The alice posters have arrived and look great. I am really happy with them. If any of you want a copy please leave a comment and I'll work out the best way of distributing them. I only got 8 made up for now, so let me know quickly. Click on the image in the previous post to link to the full picture.
edit - I just realised that I forgot to say what size it was. It is roughly 42x15 cm
and more - I only have one of these left now. I will order another batch and get them up on ETSY soon. Thanks for the support guys :)
I have ordered some postersof my Alice piece. I expected them to have arrived already but I'm still waiting. When they get here I hope to put them up on my new Etsy shop. Watch this space those who were interested.
. . . and I'm a long way from finishing this. Having lots of doubts. Just need to push through but also need to have a break from it too. Need to make my Fourteen Nights posts less ambitious. . . another lesson learnt.
Tonight was the last of the life drawing classes I've been doing. What a good session I had. I did loads of drawings. I was feeeling quite relaxed and playful and really had fun with these and got some good results. The drawing at the top is my favourite for the 10(8) weeks. It was a two minute pose that looked quite tough but the drawing came out very nicely. Hopefully we will get to do another session in the autumn. My drawing has definately improved and I had a lot of fun.
