Comics en Extincion

Well I said I would try to flag up stuff on the interweb that is currently floating my boat. Today that's Comics en Extincion. This blog, one of too many to which I am currently hooked, is an amazing archive of old comic art. It is written in what I assume is Portuguese (forgive my ignorance) which is frustrating as I would love to read the authors text but the wealth of images by so many great artists is a great resource. It's great to see the work of Victor de la Fuente, Alex Raymond etc but best thing is discovering the work I'm less familiar with. It's well worth trawling through the archives so go and take a look.

edit - It's Spanish and google translator makes sense of it for the most part. thanks to the author for getting me up to speed.

Another knight. Looking forward to colouring this one. Won't get it done in time for the fourteen nights deadline though. Gonna put some text on the shield too. Crusade Kitty or Snow Delight?

Spring cleaning

Previous voyage on Paper Sails can be seen at over at my Flickr page. I haven't really got in to the swing of using this blog. So I thought it was time for a spring clean. Blow out the cobwebs and start afresh.

I plan to post my own work more regularly but also flag up some of the stuff that is inspiring (or intimidating) me. I'll aim to post two to three times a week.

Let's see how that works out ;P
